Effective date: October 26, 2026

Living Influence is a space to explore grace, trust, and relationships. We want you to understand what happens to the information you share with us, whether you are listening, reflecting, or supporting this work.

This policy covers livinginfluence.com. Living Influence is responsible for the information collected through this website. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].

Information you choose to share

We collect information you provide when you create or manage an account, make a gift, contact us, or ask to receive updates. Depending on what you choose to do, this may include your name, email address, account details, billing address, donation amount and frequency, and the contents of your message.

We use this information to provide the requested service, manage your account and giving, send receipts and account messages, respond to questions, and keep the website secure. Creating an account or saving a reflection does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.

Your reflections belong to your experience

You can begin an online reflection without an account. Written responses are optional. Before you sign in, your draft is kept in storage associated with that browser tab. Closing the tab can remove it; browser recovery features may sometimes restore a tab and its draft.

If you sign in and save, your responses are stored with your website account so you can return to them on another device. They are not published, shared with other participants, sent to Google Analytics or Mailchimp, or included in routine emails. Authorized website administrators and providers maintaining the site may technically access stored responses when necessary to operate or support it.

Reflections can reveal personal beliefs or experiences. Share only what you feel comfortable storing, and avoid unnecessary information about other people. You can download your responses or use “Clear reflection” to remove the saved version from the resource. Contact us if you need help with account or data deletion.

Gifts and payment information

One-time and monthly gifts are managed through our website and processed by Stripe. We retain donation records and details needed for receipts, recurring giving, support, and financial administration. Stripe handles payment credentials; our website uses payment references and limited payment-method details rather than storing your full card number or security code.

You can manage available giving and account settings through My Account. Deleting an account does not necessarily remove records we need for financial, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes. Stripe describes its own handling of information in its Privacy Policy.

Cookies and website measurement

The website uses cookies and browser storage for functions such as signing in, maintaining a donation session, and keeping a reflection draft. We also use Google Analytics through Site Kit to understand how people find and use the website and which resources are helpful.

Analytics can include pages visited, device and browser information, general location, referring websites or campaigns, and cookie-based identifiers. For resources, we measure milestones such as starting online, spending time across sections, finishing, saving, clicking the PDF download, and following the podcast link. These events contain resource information and limited activity counts, not reflection answers, names, email addresses, or website account IDs. A download click does not tell us whether someone reads or prints the PDF.

Automatic form-interaction and site-search measurement are disabled. Account-management and sign-in pages are excluded from Google Analytics, and Google signals and advertising-personalization features are disabled in our setup. Campaign measurement helps us understand how people discover our resources.

Read how Google uses information from websites that use its services. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser and, in supported browsers, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking storage may affect sign-in, giving, or drafts. Private browsing alone does not prevent analytics collection. This website does not currently offer an on-site cookie-preference panel.

Providers and communications

We use providers to host and maintain the website, process payments, deliver email, and measure website use. Brevo, connected through our website’s email service, helps deliver messages such as account emails and donation receipts. Providers receive the information needed for their role and may process it in countries other than yours. See Brevo’s Privacy Policy.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims. When you follow a link to another website or service, its privacy practices apply. If you request email updates, you can ask us to stop marketing messages or use an unsubscribe link where provided. Essential account and donation messages may still be sent.

How long information stays

We keep information according to its purpose, account activity, support needs, and applicable financial or legal obligations. Saved reflections remain available until cleared or otherwise deleted. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups, and records required for financial administration may need to be retained separately.

Google Analytics is currently configured for two months of event-data retention and fourteen months of user-data retention. Those settings do not set a deletion date for standard aggregated reports or other website records.

Your choices and requests

You can update available profile details in My Account, clear or download reflections, manage giving, and contact us about your information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, receive a copy of, or object to certain uses of personal information. Email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no website or transmission is completely secure. We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the effective date above.
